ArtGuideIndia is an initiative of Curaty Private Limited, an Indian incorporated company recognised by Startup India and registered with WIFPA. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Curaty Private Limited in its operation of ArtGuideIndia.
What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address and verification timestamp, verified via a one-time passcode (OTP) when you choose to subscribe to our digital dispatches.
- Contact & inquiries: your name, email address, topic of inquiry, and message, submitted after one-time passcode (OTP) email verification.
- Technical logs: your IP address, browser type, and requested pages, collected strictly for cybersecurity diagnostics, DDOS mitigation, and rate limiting.
- Cookies: strictly essential session and security cookies (see below).
We do not collect payment or banking details, and we do not run commercial advertising or behavioural tracking networks on this site.
How we use it
- To deliver the Journal, cultural essays, and guides to your inbox when subscribed.
- To review and respond to your direct inquiries, institutional partnerships, and editorial pitches.
- To maintain site reliability, prevent automated abuse, and safeguard communications via OTP verification.
We process your personal information based on your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for the site's secure operation: an encrypted session cookie and a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection token to safeguard form submissions. We do not use commercial tracking cookies, third-party advertising pixels, or invasive behavioural monitoring.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with necessary technical infrastructure providers who host our platform and deliver transactional emails (such as OTP verification codes). All infrastructure operates under strict confidentiality and security protocols. We may disclose information only if required by applicable Indian law or a valid judicial order.
How long we keep it
We retain your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe or request removal. Contact submissions and correspondence are retained for up to 24 months to support editorial records and ongoing communications. Temporary OTP verification codes expire within 10 minutes and are permanently purged. Server security logs are automatically cycled and deleted within 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from dispatches at any time using the link in every email. In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and applicable Indian privacy regulations, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections or complete erasure, withdraw consent, and submit grievances. For any requests, email connect@artguideindia.com, and our desk will respond within 30 days.
Children
ArtGuideIndia is an educational and cultural publication intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 years of age.
Security
We implement robust technical and organisational security measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption, CSRF defence, email OTP verification, and restricted administrative access to protect your personal data. While no internet transmission is entirely impenetrable, we maintain industry-standard safeguards.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will reflect the updated date at the top of this document. Significant changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers by email.
